Audio Visual (A/V) Installer – Technician, Commercial

AV Colorado is a commercial sound and video systems installer serving the front range area. We are locally owned and provide a small company environment where you can grow your skills and income. We need an installer with experience to install A/V systems in corporate, government and house of worship. We occasionally do residential.

Responsibilities

  • Wire equipment racks, install projectors, screens, TV, speakers, control systems, DSP, conference systems.
  • Interpret CAD drawings, scope, BOM including learning about the components being installed.
  • Provide timely feedback to the rest of the team using tablet/smart phone – good communication.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting of any issue that may arise during an installation.
  • Interaction with clients, general contractors, electrical contractors, etc.
  • Prioritize responsibilities for most efficient use of time.

Proficiencies Required

  • Experience installing A/V systems in commercial.
  • Pride in workmanship, including cable management, labeling, testing and attention to detail.
  • Great with customers, present a positive impression of the company, customer service oriented.
  • Understand the construction industry – including building code, fastening systems and process.
  • Reliable transportation with current driver’s license, insurance – most jobs are local.
  • Pass a background test and random drug test.
  • A great attitude with an appreciation for the A/V industry.
  • An aptitude and desire to learn all things high tech, including the tools we use.
  • Highly motivated to succeed self-starter, team player, very organized and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without aid, move equipment, crouch and kneel, work on lifts/ladders.

AV Sales Engineer & Marketing

AV Colorado is a commercial sound and video systems installer serving the front range area. We are locally owned and provide a small company environment where you can grow your skills and income. If you love high tech, you’ll enjoy talking to people about the coolest products on the market. We sell, install and service systems used to help our clients communicate: audio & video systems, interactive white boards, video conferencing and specialty lighting.

Responsibilities

  • AV Design & Sales, Business Development
  • Sales quotes and order processing – close deals!
  • Help us stay in contact with clients on a regular basis; provide new tech announcements, service agreements, QC
  • Database Development – ACT! CRM transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics
  • Manage Social Media (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn), website updates, email marketing and direct mail
  • Participate in leads groups as part of business development

Proficiencies Required

  • Tech savvy/computer skills with a love for all things technology.
  • Great with people, indispensable customer focus, excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • Requires a highly self-motivated individual who can manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Great attitude, aptitude, strong EQ: Emotional Quotient.
  • Someone that wants to make a difference and learn – keep up with the technology.
  • Easy going, yet ambitious; confident and a team player.
  • Be well groomed for public appearances – dress for success.
  • Translate your creativity into action by helping us with media content creation that tells our story.
  • Attention to Detail, Professional, Organized, and Reliable.
  • High speed Internet and a good home office environment for telecommuting.
  • Spanish speaker is a plus, however, must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to video conference clients (webcam with Skype).
  • Physically able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Pass a background check without felony or recent misdemeanors.

  • Competitive base salary plus Commission and Bonuses, $38k-45k base with potential to make as much as you can earn via 20/30% GP commission.
